Nice. I'd go with Achebe, except I suspect the Nobel committee may not want to follow too closely in the footsteps of the Man Booker International Prize. That rules out Kadare as well.
He has a point about Kundera - I had the same "wait, he hasn't won already" reaction.
My wild card entry of the year: William Trevor. Isn't it time the Nobel went to someone who writes exquisite short stories?
I know...I wish they'd disregard previous awards, though and give him the Nobel.
